HOW LONG IS THE PROCEDURE?

The procedure takes 3.5 to 4 hours long. Please make sure you reserve enough time for your appointment.

DOES IT HURT?

Topical numbing cream is used throughout the procedure.

The pain level varies by person. Some compare the pain to eyebrow threading and to some the pain is minimal.  

Your comfort and satisfaction is our main priority. Your artist will ask for your pain level using a scale from 1-10 to make sure you are comfortable. 

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

If have been prescribed Accutane, you must wait at least one year before booking an appointment.

 

Avoid chemical peels four weeks prior to your appointment.

 

Avoid retinols for at least four weeks prior and four weeks after.

 

One week before stop taking the following supplements: Vitamin E, B6, Omega 3, Magnesium, Gingko Biloba and  St. John's Worth as they contribute to blood thinning and may affect pigment retention and anesthetic efficiency.

72 hrs before your appointment avoid alcohol and ibuprofen.

The day of your appointment: NO CAFFEINE AND NO EXCERCISE

AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE?

You are NOT a good candidate if:

​

  • Under 18

  • Pregnant

  • Nursing/Breast Feeding

  • Sick with cold or flu

  • Viral Infections

  • History of Keloids

  • Diabetic (requires doctors clearance)

  • Chemotherapy

  • Epilepsy

  • Pacemaker or major heart conditions

  • Botox in the last 2 months

  • Accutane treatment in the past year

  • Any treatments, medications or illness that compromises the immune system
